During the restoration of The Buttery we were careful to retain any original aspects that we could in order to maintain the integrity of the building. The tiles in the bathroom for example, which we believe to be hand painted, were all around the walls of the main dairy. Outside, there is a terrace with tables and chairs and there are some lovely rural walks directly from The Buttery over meadows into our well managed woodland. Alternatively it is well placed for Norwich which is nine miles away, or for exploring all the other sights of Norfolk. In the village of Honingham, only a seven minute walk away, is a pub with good food. The Buttery is £95 for one night, £85 per night for two nights and £80 per night for three nights or more, on the basis of two people sharing. We are sorry it is not suitable for children . ::
We would ask our guests kindly not to smoke inside the Buttery :: Please
contact Deborah or Anthony Meynell by phone or e-mail
if you would like to make a reservation.
